First day of 2023

Woke up early, did a little journaling and started working on my Dungeon23. Made a big pot of black-eyed peas and several loaves of focaccia. Later in the morning, a few friends came over and we played John Company, a current favorite. As the sun went down, my son and my partner and I were walking down off of Powell Butte, answering our conundrums and heading to dinner at Nicholas. It’s hard to think of a finer way to start the year.
